To initiate the applicant registration process, the Admin or a privileged user must first configure the Applicant Registration settings.
Follow the steps below to complete the configuration.
Step 1: Add Active Years and Courses
Activate the new academic year for which you want to open the admission process. Select the relevant courses/classes that should be available for online registration.
Step 2: Configure Registration Course Settings
Configure the registration settings for the selected academic year. The settings can be applied either globally or individually for each course.
The following configurations can be performed:
General or Course-Specific Settings: Configure the registration settings for all courses or customize them for individual courses.
Welcome Message and Instructions: Add a welcome message, course description, and instructions to guide applicants while filling out the application form. These details will be displayed when applicants access the application form link.
Customize Application Form: Modify the application form fields according to the institution's requirements.
Application Statuses: Create and manage different application statuses, such as Pending, Allotted, Rejected, etc., to track the admission process.
Step 3: Configure Magic Pins (Optional)
The Manage Pins option allows users to generate unique PIN numbers for applicants who wish to register for a course online.
Each applicant receives a unique PIN to access the online registration process.
The PIN can be issued to students after payment of the registration fee.
This feature helps institutions manage paid registrations and track the total number of applicants allotted seats for a specific course or class.
Note: If the institution offers free registration, the Magic Pins facility may not be required.
Step 4: Configure Notification Settings (Optional)
Based on the institution's requirements, the Admin can configure notification settings for the Applicant Registration module.
These settings help the institution:
Receive notifications whenever a new application is submitted.
Receive daily digest notifications summarizing applicant registrations.
Note: Notification settings are optional and can be configured according to the institution's communication requirements.
