What are the common labels in Fedena which can be misread / confused?

Fedena ERP is designed to cater to global needs. The Education system across the globe varies a lot in terms of the process each institute follows. The terms or Nomenclature used in institutes may differ according to the Geographical locations. Below are the labels that can mislead according to the Geographical position of the institute

In Fedena	What It Refers To
Course	The programme or class to which a student is admitted. Examples: Standard 1, MBA, Electronics Engineering, MS, etc.
Subject	The topics/modules taught under a Course/Programme. In some countries this may also be referred to as a “Course.” Examples: English, Mathematics, Physics.
Grade	The academic performance classification of a student. This can sometimes be confused with “Class” or “Course.” Examples: First Class, Distinction, Pass, Fail, Second Class.
Hostel	Residential accommodation provided by the institution. In some regions this may also be called Dormitory or Residential Facility.
Examination/ Gradebook	Assessments conducted to evaluate the academic or co-curricular performance of students.
Batch	Academic year/section/group under a Course or Class.
Section	Division within a Batch/Class (e.g., A Section, B Section).
Class Timing Set	The predefined time schedule created for periods/classes during the academic day.
Finance Category	Fee category or fee structure grouping used for collections.
Particulars	Individual fee heads/components such as Tuition Fee, Transport Fee, Lab Fee, etc.
Attendance Type	Method used for attendance marking such as Subject-wise or Daily attendance.
Privilege	User access permissions/roles assigned within the ERP.
Timetable Entry	Subject scheduling or class period allocation.
Employee Category	Grouping of staff such as Teaching, Non-Teaching, Administration, etc.
Guardian	Parent or authorized contact person associated with the student.
Sibling	Brother or sister relationship mapping between students studying in the institution, mainly used for sibling records, communication, or fee considerations.
Custom Import	Bulk data upload/import feature using CSV files.
Assignment	Homework, project work, or academic task assigned to students.
Collaboration	Communication and document-sharing modules for students and parents.
